
ABOUT
The Math and Statistics Learning Center (MSLC) is dedicated to supporting students taking lower division math classes (Math 105, 120, 141, 150 and 151) as well as statistics (STAT 119, 250). Our philosophy is that each person deserves respect and whatever type of help they need. Please stop by, we'd love to meet you.

The offers three types of tutoring:

Walk-in tutoring

Appointments (*one on one with a tutor for 30 minutes, max of 3 sessions per week)

Online tutoring (*Coming soon)

We also encourage students seeking help on computer applications such as MatLab, R, Exce to make an appointment.

Dr. Janet Bowers

Welcome to the MLC. I am a faculty member in the department of mathematics and statistics specializing in mahtematics education. I look forward to developing programs and learning about the needs of SDSU students in their pursuit of STEM careers.

Leroy Jeeter
Graduate Student Director
LeRoy is one of the lead tutors. He is a graduate student earning his MS in Applied Mathematics. He was a TA for Math 150 last year.His motto is "Life is short, work hard, but laugh harder." He tutors Math 141, Math 150 and Math 151.

Jeff Goodrich
Undergraduate Student Director
Jeff is a lead tutor. He is finishing his last semetser at SDSU. He is a single subject major and plans to teach math inhigh school. He has been an instructional assistant for Math 141 for three semesters and tutors Math 141, 150, and 151.
